    Book Start End Thoughts
The Cold Start Problem - Andrew Chen Dec 16, 2021 continue next year
Dune Nov 6, 2021 Stopped Audible need a feature to switch the audio. The current guy puts me to sleep. Really good book, makes me want to read a hard copy. Very enjoyable storyline and world. Many possibilities for different kinds of plot development.
Becoming Dr.Q - Alfredo Quinones Sept 6, 2021 Dropped Interesting start, youtube would be a better format to learn this story though.
A Promised Land - Barack Obama August 15, 2021 Dropped Interesting read, very long book. At points too much detail
Project Hail Mary - Andy Weir July 21, 2021 July 28, 2021 Great start, third story by Andy Weir I really liked right away. Best book I've read in a while. Can't put it down, the way first contact is imagined is really good.
Onward - Howard Schultz June 29, 2021 continue next year Interesting how starbucks wasnt the original starbucks. Shows how your network gets higher value people once you get bigger. Kinda an unfair advantage. Nothing too insightful.
Meditations of Marcus Aurelius June 18, 2021 Dropped Kinda hard to read, lol my reading level might be low. Or i have to slow speed from 2x to 1
The Code Breaker - Walter Isaacson June 12, 2021 continue next year I've gotten more comfortable with not finishing a book, and its liberating. This book is trying to hype the slow process of scientific development, which is well intentioned, but executes it in the worng way.
The Almanack of Naval ravikant - ERic Jorgenson June 10, 2021 June 12, 2021 Good read. A lot of quoteable material. "You are retired when you no longer sacrafice today for a better tomorrow"
12 Rules for Life June 8, 2021 continue next year Meh, mostly obvious stuff
Greenlights - Matthew McConaughey June 3, 2021 June 8, 2021 Really interesting start. Completely different cultural upbrining than what i experienced. Story picks up really quickly, really good story telling. I want to be his bff lol! Good read
Amazon Unbound - Brad Stone May 23, 2021 June 17, 2021 Just more insight on how amazon is run. I think it wouldve been better if amazon was multiple different companies. Okay book overall, nothing amazing

Uncanny Valley Feb 4, 2021 Mar 9, 2021 not a fan of the writing and hyperbole used. Story worth sharing though

Delivering Happiness - Tony Hsieh Dec 2, 2020 Dec 12, 2020 Decent, was more interested in their first venture but not much covered in the book about it.
Secrets of Sandhill Road Nov 20, 2019 2nd Run
Who is Michael Ovitz? - Michael Ovitz Nov 10, 2020

What It Takes - Stephen Schwarzman Oct 18, 2020 Oct 28, 2020 Good read. 8/10
No rules rules Sept 28, 2020 Oct 16, 2020 7/10 anecdotal insights into how to create a company culture you want. What all these books fail to show is, how they wouldve gone about creating the intended company culture without commerical success. If netflix was failing, they wouldnt have so much emphesis on creating a specific culture.

The Future of Humanity - Michio Kaku June 1, 2020 June 11, 2020 Good read, very speculative, neat ideas author has brainstormed. Thinking about the vastness of the universe makes you think about our insignificance.
Built From Scratch - Arthur, Bernie May 25, 2020 June 1, 2020 Good story, they really took care of their customers. some really touching stories about what companies can accomplish if theyve got good leadership, culture and actionable plans
Flash Crash - Liam Vaughan May 15, 2020 May 23, 2020 Idk much about financial market and the economics of hft, but hft seems like it shouldn't be a thing. I dont see how trading stock super fast creates value for anyone, its arbitrage in the simplest form. Does it help anyone, except make the individuals with an edge in tech get richer, does it create actual value for comapny or stakeholder? dosent seem like that. Kudos to Nav for making best of the situtaion, raw talent of sorts.
Atomic Habits May 10, 2020 June 12, 2020 Felt like a drag to read. Some good strategies. Most things seemed pretty obvious to me as over the years I've intuitively used these strategies.
The Man who Solved the Market Apr 27, 2020 May 6, 2020 Really good, surprised people were so reluctant to try quant based trading. Its funny how the heads of these funds are put on a pedestel even though the most of the clever work done is by individual contributers
Seveneves - Neal Stephenson Apr 25, 2020 Continue in 2021 7,000,000,000 to 8. And humans still figured out a way to survive.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard - JK Rowling Apr 19, 2020 Apr 23, 2020 Wizarding world has so much potential for mroe stories, should turn it into an annual movie/book release like disney is doing with star wars.
David and Goliath - Malcolm Gladwell Apr 16, 2020 Apr 25, 2020 Neat stories. Message aligns with what I've noticed before from other books, things that seem like crazy, miricle, chance events are ususally just the sum of a bunch of logical steps that precedded it.
    Facebook - Steven Levy Mar 22, 2020 Apr 15, 2020 hmmm...
That will never work - Marc Randolph Mar 16, 2020 Mar 22, 2020 Good read, 9/10

Hatching Twitter - Nick Bilton Mar 14, 2020 Mar 15, 2020 Always find founder stories to be fun. Twitter's messy power struggles, might be what has stiffled it. Insights revealed about Bill Campbell, 'the coach' that make me question the 'hype' around him as displayed in the book 'Trillion Dollar Coach'
Surely You're Joking, Mr.Feynman! Feb 18, 2020 Mar 11, 2020 Fun read, Question things deeply
    1984 - George Orwell Jan 30, 2020

The Code Nov 22, 2019 Mar 5, 2020 Good Read, logical steps revealed that lead to silicon valley as it is today
Billion Dollar Whale Oct 28, 2019 Mar 4, 2020 Okay read, felt dragged on. Also conclusion not there yet.
